We can complete the full commercial element of your tender.
We will analyse the tender documents and issue material and subcontract enquiries. This can be done either using your supply chain list or our own preferred suppliers.
We will produce “builder’s quantities” from drawings and specifications or review client issued bills of quantities and carry out checks.
Analyse material and subcontract quotations and incorporate into the tender, pricing “own-labour“ elements of the project from first principles.
Attend site visits, understand the logistical approach and price the preliminary costs accordingly.
Complete forms of tender and other tender submission documentation
With experience working for small, medium and large contractors, we can assist with any project regardless of size or procurement route.
During the pre-contract stage of the project we produce an initial feasibility cost plan and advise on contract selection and procurement route. We will detail the cost implications for different forms of construction and provide value engineering options.
During the procurement stage of the project we will work with the design team to collate the tender documentation and lead the contractor liaison. On return of tenders we will carry out the financial tender analysis and issue our tender report containing our recommendation. We will then proceed to prepare the contract documentation.
During the construction stage of the project we will assess the payment applications, valuations and final account. Cost reporting and site meeting attendance will be continuous throughout the project.
We can produce a full set of SMM bills of quantities from drawings and specifications. Using our experience we can fill the design gaps that are often present at early design stages.
We understand that the financial outlay for producing a full bill of quantities for every project cannot always be justified, which is why we offer a “‘builder’s quantities” service.
We can measure the key elements of the project and return an unpriced bill to yourselves to complete with your own rates.
